i have installed simple machines to my web server and cannot for the life of me get the install.php file to run.
I keep getting a forbidden 403 error.
Trust me i have tried just about everything i can think of. :'(
Infacted everytime i run the install.php file i get this?

You are running it via your browser, like www.site.com/forum/install.php right?

It seems your host doesn't support PHP. There is nothing you can do to run SMF there. You should change your host to another one.

Go to www.google.com and type Web Hosting Providers or Free Web Hosting Providers and you can find lots of link on how to get new host.
Done that and now i get this ::)

i just uploaded the files using fxp into there web space which is free, and now i cannot find the install file.php.

What host do you lot use? well instead of me signing up everywhere to get web space, maybe it would be better if i got a clue from what you lots use.
Then i could just go sign up there and no it`ll work?
