after i had installed joomla smf bridge
what can I do??? I use joomla 1.0.9
Configure the bridge component.
how do I do that
I'm noob on this
Go to your Joomla admin panel.
Go to your Components menu.
Go to the SMF Bridge.
Click on Edit Config.
Make sure the path to SMF is correct.
Click Save.
I really can't get the full path correct have tried and it doesn't want to work
What are you trying to use as a path?
/home/www/mysite/forum
I try to use that because the joomla full path is /home/www/mysite
don't I need a folder or something there I link it to
And you put SMF in a folder named "forum" ?
I can't to the smf bridge-->configuration anymore I get bad URL when I try to go to it
I have the smf 1.1RC2 uploaded to the folder forum
and did you run the SMF install?
What is your url?
I have it working now found the problem I didn't have the smf forum installed thanks for all your help
I have an other problem my site gets of sync in IE but it's normal in FF what to do???
b more specific.... what do you mean "out of sync"?
check here http://electric.clan.pro/
page is not available....
what i mean whit out of sync is that the whole page is note the same as in FF in IE the banner is on the wrong place and other pictures are not on their correct place
ah... a template issue in other words... Yes, template can look different in FF vs IE... it's the nature of the beast. Especially fixed width templates... you will have to either play around with your specific template until it looks good in both places, or use a different template.
