I dun get it.. i'm like totally lost here. Okay.. this is what i understand. I download the smf. The i find a host. that's pretty much all i got. I got a host(http://awardspace.com/) i dunno.. will that host work?and now what do i do? :'(
Now you have to upload the files of SMF.

You don't have to open the file to chmod it to 777.
What program did you use to upload everything?
Most of the time you just have to right-click on the file, and then choose something like "set attributes" or "set permissions"
i used the ws_ftp home program.
