Hi all, I'm new here!
Well, let's see where do I start...
Yesterday I got my forum up and running.. it was a miracle lol Then.. I messed it up and got that dreaded error page, by trying to mess with the themes before reading up on them. (dumb on my part, I know ;) )
Well, I decided to delete everything from my server. I started fresh today by uploading everything again. I got the board back up again, but it was all messed up!! So, after trying my hardest to bring it back to life, I figured I'd delete it again and try one more time.
Now... it won't even let me get to the board. That FTP page comes up when I type in the 'install.php' page. I contacted them where I host, and they have NO idea what to put in for the server info. They gave me the port. They told me what to use for username and which password I should use. The path part they were as dumbfounded as I am lol
I can't right click on ANYTHING in my FTP, so I can't make them writeable myself, or I would. :'(
Can anyone help? *pleading*

you cant right click in your ftp? try using a client software such as cute ftp. Secondly get a new host, because if they dont know your user path they are about incompetent. These are basic things that any host should know or be able to figure out for you easily.
who is your host please. they should know what you need.
