I have the bridge working well now under Firefox and with Joomla 1.0.9, SMF 1.1 RC2, and bridge 1.1.4. However, MS Internet Explorer doesn't display anything when I am both logged in and when I go to my SMF forum page. It works fine under Firefox though.
Any suggestions are appreciated.
Bob
Turn off compressed output in SMF.
Thank you again!!!! I really appreciate your help. :D
That fixed my problem and I'm all set now!

Errr. Sorry to bring this back up again, but I turned compression off (well was off actually) and still doesnt work in IE. Ive done everythign youve mentioned, the fix for the username and everything. Using Joomla 1.0.9, SMF 1.1RC2, Bridge 1.1.4. I am still having the same problem as when the first post says.
Is there anything else I could try to do to remidy this problem?
Thanks in advanced!

Does your SMF database user have access to your Joomla database?
Errr. I CAN get it perfectly fine using firefox. And it doesnt matter, they are both on one database.
Please? Its still not right...
where is the main menu? I can't see any way to get to the forum.
however, going to:
http://www.williamsack.jumbahost.com/index.php?option=com_smf
brings it up just fine, when I view it in IE
Thats the problem. So you see it too. You can find the main menu when using firefox. Sorry I should have made you a test account...ok, just did. test/test00. Login using that if you didnt make a name. Once you login, try with IE and Firefox. That top bar is what the main menu is. You only see home with IE and firefox you see all options...
AH! now I understand (your explanation before really made no sense)
You are not having any problems with the bridge... this is a CSS issue. IE and Firefox dow CSS differently.
This is the section... Please post your template_css.css entries for

Oooh shoot. I appologize. I didnt realize that it was a template issue. I am sorry for your time taken...but that showed me that this bridge is still fine. I dont like that template all that much anyway, I will just change.
Thanks again for your time...its appreciated.
