When will SMF RC3 released for public testing?
Testing? It's not a Beta it is just another release candidate with more bug fixes ;)
And I'm sure the same SMF statement applies. "Will be released when ready". 8) ;D
Will this the last RC before Final?

I would imagine, but anything could happen. ;)
And as usual, it will be released when it is ready. ;)

RC2 was planned to be the latest before final. But all aint go as we do desire huh? :)
So we dont know.. Maybe yes, maybe no. But we are hopefull :)
It will be released when it is ready.
As you no doubt know from reading other posts an RC3 is necessary due to the addition of CAPTCHA and a bug in internationalization support
Great to see it when it arrives :D
I am ready :)

When will SMF RC3 released for public testing?
Who said it would? For all we know, it could be for Charter Members only. :)
We might be cruel but I'm not sure if we are that cruel :P
Sorry to say, Im unemployed and poor. And the project is purely goodwill that smf will be used for. Parents of disabled children in Sweden. Since society is society, a place without the goal to sell sell sell is needed. Therefore I will not allow any commercial ads or banners, if it is not as good as a service.
So it is more likely to provide do it yourself guides, since everthing in the industry of care is outrages expensive. A button for a computer is about $80, and if you are a bit handy it only costs about $4. Two buttons at least is needed, then a box to plugit in to.
So if familys pay, many can't afford it. If government pay, taxmoney could be used for better things and some poor people could get food.
But maybe in the future someone will donate a wee little to the site, and then I most likely will become a Charter Member. Because a little support may be needed. But until then, I am ready :)
How much earlier do the charter members get it before us?
Charter members have it already. They have reported a couple bugs that we'll want to correct before the public release.
Yea we no want any bugs. Leave the buggy stuff to well you know that very popular operating system that needs to be fully surpassed by Linux soon. 8) ;D ;)

Good to know.
I always remember the saying "A watched pot never boils" when I`m waiting for something....course it doesn`t really help much, lol. But it`s a good saying. :)
So something _ucked up.
L for me adn F for the company, got one of my montly bills. It said 0.00 kr. Wich is as much as $0. The amount equals charter membership so... wiiiiiii... here I come. I phoned them and tried to tell them that I got an invoice with 0, but it was already paid. But they never reversed invoices even if it was wrong. Thats nice :)

CAPTCHA is worth waiting for. Given SMF superior base feature set when compaired to almost every other forum I can't see the 1.1 final not including it.
In the last month my boards have been repeatedly hit with bot registrations, likely MOST are getting stuck in activation, but that also means I need to go and do cleanup all the time.
I am usually against features being added in an RC, but these days CAPTCHA is a must.

Same here. It's very annoying.
I'm just happy that captcha is being included in the 1.1 release so I reckon it's worth waiting for a little while longer.
