Otsikko: Problem Adding users to membergroup
Kirjoitti: reuscam - kesäkuu 26, 2006, 09:43:12 AP
I know I'm doing something wrong, I just can't figure out what.

I've created a board called "Alumni Officers Forum".

I then created a group called Alumni officers.

I went back to modify my board "Alumni Officers Forum" so that Alumni Officers was the only group allowed to see it.

I then went to View/Edit users, and added 2 people to Alumni Officers.  These people could now correctly see and post to the Alumni Officers Forum, but they could no longer post in the standard open forums, that anyone can post to.

What do I need to do?

Thanks for the help.

did you also allow this new group to view those forums as well?

Im not sure where to do that.  I checked the large pay with the allow/deny/disable checkboxes, and didnt see anything there that would prevent them from doing it.  I guess I have to do it from the same page I made it view the Alumni forum?  I dont understand why Id have to do that, since these forums in question are unregulated.  ill check though, thanks.

edit-  Just checked, and it is added is an Allowed Group to the basic forum.
