Good evening fantastic people.. sorry to post this here. the search button dosnt work and got lost in the posts..
ive just downloaded mambo 4.5.1 and then installed *all worked fine*
then i added a chat service to it *flash chat* *all works fine*
then i added some games *all works fine*
then i downloaded SMF 1.0.7 installed it into a sub directory *all works fine* (lovely forum btw)
uploaded the bridge *Bridge 1.1.4 (SMF 1.1 RC2-Mambo,Joomla)*
once installing the bridge, it came up with some errors... within the mysql database.
now the login box had dissapeard and it's replaced with
*Fatal error: Call to undefined function: loadassoclist() in /home/a/a/aaalam/public_html/mambo/modules/mod_smf_login.php on line 32*
as i am not a coder. and i dont really know much about websites. just a little to get me by.. i havnt a clue what that means.
when i go into me admin panel and click on components then bridge it comes up with this
*Fatal error: Call to undefined function: loadassoclist() in /home/a/a/aaalam/public_html/mambo/administrator/components/com_smf/admin.smf.php on line 118"
but when i click on "simple machines form registration" it all looks fine. say's its "Configuration is : Writeable"
so i dont know what to do
please help....
sorry about this. i'm just trying to provide a free chat and game service to jo public.

1) You should upgrade to Mambo 4.5.4. 4.5.1 is well outdated.

Here is a quote from the post where you downloaded that bridge:
LainaaAgain, this bridge is compatible only with SMF 1.1RC2. If you have any other version of SMF, please use bridge 3.19a instead.
It is in very large bold print, so you almost have to ignore it intentionally.
You have the wrong bridge for that version of SMF.

so ill download the new mambo and install that. and the bridge is on this site somewhere?

You would probably have an easier time upgrading SMF to 1.1 RC2.
