My forum is on SMF 1.0.5.
A chum made some mods, I think they were for including headlines on the front page of the site and for the latest post in a thread to be viewed first. He tells me we can't upgrade easily and that he has forgotten what other changes he might have made.
I've tried to do it via the package manager and it fails. I am not technical enough to handle code and so I am now a bit stuck and helpless.
Is there a tool where you can click once and it tells you all the changes that have been made, click again and it puts them right, and click again and it upgrades to the latest version? If not, can someone invent one for dopes like me please?

You *could* use the BeyondCompare (http://www.scootersoftware.com/) to compare your current files with their 1.0.7 equivalents. Keep in mind this is a lot of work though.
