But what about a good collection of message icons? The default set is...well, blah!
Also - when inserting a link (as I did above), it seems there is NOT an option to highlight some text and link the text to it - you have to put the URL inside the url box instead. Am I missing something here? Is there a way to link direct with text?

decent sets well depends on what you are after.
and a link this is easier [url=http://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php?topic=15622.0]some text[/url]
would show
some text (http://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php?topic=15622.0)
Oh! Thanks! Why isn't there just an operation icon we can click on within smf forums? Or is it something I can download and install?
again - thanks - as far as "decent", well, I guess the message icons included are decent, they just don't seem very creative or fun and are similar to eachother. Just looking for choices!
