Otsikko: Installed simplicity theme, get the copyright message
Kirjoitti: flavor8 - heinäkuu 12, 2006, 09:05:02 IP
Hello, I installed the "simplicity" theme (from the minimal section) and there is a big copyright warning at the bottom. How can I patch the theme so that SMF is happy?

Thanks

try manually uploading the index.template.php file using your ftp client, making sure you overwright the existing one

Also make sure you indeed got the right version of the theme. There are versions for both SMF 1.0.7, 1.1 RC1 and 1.1RC2.

Thanks Bloc, that was the problem. I thought the "RC2" etc related to the theme, not the SMF version. All's good now.

Yeah, I know, it can be confusing. :) Some put their own version into the name, others not anything.

I try to add simply the version like xxxx.zip means 1.0.x versions, xxx11.zip means the 1.1 beta 3, and of course xxxx11rc1.zip / xxxx.11rc2.zip are for the 1.1RC versions of SMF.
