I just installed the bridge 1.15, everything seems to have went smoothly, no errors and I was able to register a test user, but do seem to have one hiccup.
It created a menu item called Forum in my mainmenu, but the component type shows as 'Component -- JoomlaStats' and the URL is index.php?option=com_joomlastats&Itemid=30. Not a big deal as I just created a new menu item wrapped to SMF, just curious as to what may have caused it, and if there is a more appropriate way to fix it.
Another little thing, within the Login Form where it says 'Welcome, Guest, please login or register', the register link works as expected but clicking the login link ( URL index.php?option=com_smf&Itemid=&action=login) I get an IE 'page cannot be displayed' error. Again not a big deal, entering username/pword in the login form does work (although once they login the page is opening the JoomlaStats page), so I don't think many people would click the 'login' link when they can just login there.
And one...k, actually 2, questions regarding registration, probably something simple I'm not seeing. I have com_smf_registration set to require, and com_smf to use bridge registration, and Joomla global config to allow user registration and use new account activation. My site is basically a private site for family & friends so I don't want to allow immediate registration for just anyone to access, I want it so that I activate the account, but I'm not seeing where to set that. I'm also looking at where I change the text of the activation email that is sent.
Thanks for any help/pointers anyone can give, and great job on this bridge, it was easy to install and over-all is working just as I would expect.

Yeah, that happens occasionally. You can delete that, and when you create a new menu item, make sure it is a Component Item, other wise you'll get this:

In order to do that, you'll want to use SMF registration, and then use the SMF registration setting "Member Approval".
