hi,

i get the internal server error...

as u had previously mentioned.. i set the sis folder to 755 and the files to 644.. then i get the following error:

Very strange situation-in local server mod works, in hosting don't work, instead of the mod error:

Apache Server at radiodetaliforum.ru Port 80
Curl is installed on the hosting. Help me please.

Hi,

I've got a problem using this mod on my webspace, locally at XAMPP everything works fine.

Curl is activated and here is what I get:

edit: I changed sis-php-files from 666 to 777 but nothing changed and unfortunately I can't check the Server Log because it's a hostet one...

edit2: Changed attributes of complete sis-folder to 755...that helped! There should be a known issue part in post #1

Thank you for replying Rik© I did not that

My sis folder is setup to 755 and the other two folders within too I am using the 3.05 version of the mod I was able to get it working before.

What else can I try?

Do you get the same error if you set the mod to be displayed outside of the additional options?
Is there an error_log file on the server?

Yes the same error...I get "HTTP 500 - Internal server error " full error bellow:

Welll this mode is not installing properly at all...

At first I was having Internal server Error and I checked and there was no Sis directory in the FTP (public_html)

Now 2 days later there is a Sis directory but I had to make these changes http://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php?topic=37683.msg2622689;topicseen#msg2622689 to the code for it to work...

Now it works but languages didn't install properly, in particular Portuguese_utf8 language, so I still have the mode in english




I am now using it and seems great thanks, but an official fix to some of these install errors would be even better

I installed the 313 version ,But it did not worked !!!

I see this error instead of MOD upload form :

I checked the error log of my Host and founf this error :

SoftException in Application.cpp:256: File "/home/*********/public_html/forum/sis/SISiframe.php" is writeable by group

I checked the permissions of "SISiframe.php" and that was 0666. But I couldn't change it because the owner of all of SIS files is "99"

What can I do ?

[Though only after making 755 permission change...else 500 Internal Server error does show.]

Even I receive the same error as mentioned by tectonny above...I have left sidebar to the forum using portalmx.

But Instead of Imageshack toolbar..I receive the following message:

I just reproduced the french translation 'escape apostrophes' bug.
After that i didn't get any errors when i used SIS.

If there's no internal server error maybe ImageShack.us didn't return any xml (temporarily)...

Hey Rik©, i've just found that the other test server has curl disabled (it's on a free webhost & is available only for paid accounts) so, i tink that was the main reason for the "XML return failed" message.

Installed, working wonderfully ....

Now for 2.0 rc3 version 

There's a bug in the french translation.
Will fix it asap.

Most people who got errors solved it by setting (chmod) the SIS folder permissions (and the files/folders inside it) to 755.

I got the same 500 - Internal Server Error as well, any idea when the update will be available. Great mod btw!

A beta of 3.0.1 is now available @ SimpleTweaks for those who are willing to try/test it.
When the error is fixed (have to wait for response as i couldn't reproduce the error myself) i will release it and start coding 3.1.0 which will be SMF2 compatible.
