Newsletter Subscriptions Setting?

Where do I change the newsletter subscriptions setting?

On my board (SMF 1.1.2), at My Profile -> Notifications and Email, I saw these three options:

• Receive reply notification only for the first unread reply.
• Turn notification on when you post or reply to a topic.
• When sending notification of a reply to a topic, send the post in the email (but please don't reply to these emails.)

On here SMF board, I saw:

• Receive forum announcements and important notifications by email.
• Turn notification on when you post or reply to a topic.
• When sending notification of a reply to a topic, send the post in the email (but please don't reply to these emails.)

Take note that the first line is different. Is it a typo mistake in SMF 1.1.2? Are the first lines in both SMF 1.1.2 and SMF DE function the same? I want to send newsletter to my members, but I want to let them know too where to unsubscribe the newsletter if they do not want to receive further.

Do you have the option disabled? Features and options in your admin center. In there, under basic features, is the option to allow users to disable announcements ticked and saved?

The "Allow users to disable announcement" descriptions is "This will allow users to opt out of notification of topics you announce by checking the "announce topic" checkbox when posting."

What I am refering to is to have the options for member to subscribe or unsubscribe to Admin's newsletter.

Not a problem and, in addition:

I just went and re-looked. Are you using a theme other than the default? My Stock SMF for Testing board has it listed as it is here on this site. Your theme may say something else or, if not updated properly, might not have it at all.

I am using SlickPro Graphite theme. I checked the box "Allow users to disable announcement" and now it shows four lines:

Receive forum announcements and important notifications by email.
Receive reply notification only for the first unread reply.
Turn notification on when you post or reply to a topic.
When sending notification of a reply to a topic, send the post in the email (but please don't reply to these emails.)

Another question. Is private message notification through email is via "Receive forum announcements and important notifications by email." as well? If a member unchecked this box, then will they NOT receive notification of pm?

That is under Personal Message Options in their profile.
