Need Help Changing buttons in Extreme6 - How do I change the button URLS

Hi,

After spending hours trying to figure out how to change the URL of the HOME nav buttons on the main page in the EXTREME6 theme, I have found I cannot figure it out.  My goal is to change the URL of the Home button so it takes me to a COMPLETELY different web site.

After searching through all templates and in fact, every file in the theme, All I can find is this code....

So I tried replacing $scripturl with the actual hard coded URL and it did almost work...with a problem...it added the path of the Forum to the URL and I cannot understand how it does that?  It seems if I hard codded the link, it would be exactly what I entered?

Can anyone help mw with this?

When you add the full path, make sure you add the http:// part.

For anyone who comes looking for an answer to a similar problem....

A temporary work around was to ....
1). Create a New button and add it to the Button Nave Bar
2). Create a link to a page WITHIN the default directory that contained an HTML redirect to the desired final destination.

The "Long Way Home"... but it's working for now

you will need to add a section to reflect the postion and where the "button" links to. I for instance added a button to show "New Posts" and added it inbetween "Home" and "Help".

step one: create an image that will display as your button. I used the provided "mootools_03.png" file located /images/english/ and used it as my template. once complete I saved as "new".

step two: upload your new button to ./themes/(theme name)/images/english/

step three: modify your "Subs.php" file to indicate the change. mine looked like this
