Does this happen with the default theme?

Just finished an upgrade from RC1...  thanks to the developers and beta testers for what is now probably the best board script out there... and things can only get better from here.

Congratulations, and Happy New Year to all of you!

Philosophy aims at the logical clarification of thoughts. Philosophy is not a body of
doctrine but an activity. A philosophical work consists essentially of elucidations.
Philosophy does not result in 'philosophical propositions', but rather in the clarification of
propositions. Without philosophy thoughts are, as it were, cloudy and indistinct: its task is to make them clear and to give them sharp boundaries.

Congratulations guys. You've done a superb job. Hope some of my comments have filtered through into the code.

Thanks from the faster growing Violin forum on the internet :)

A Prob here..when I try to install back my mods after upgrade...it gives me some permission denied error in installed list..and doesn't allow me to install them...what should I do...:( and OMG..I was using it with my MK Portal..nowits separate..doesn't club with it..I was scheduled to put my Site live 2day at New Year..now I am at mess... I can't even install around 10 mods that I have and my Forum has gone out of portal :( Also text has disappeared from all my forum posts giving fatal errors.... plz take a look and suggest http://fhs.freenukehosting.com/forum

Well worked hard on all themes again and restored back my posts...after removing errors and restored my post colors and my smilies. Well just wanted to know before I go again wrong... can we install all those mods ..like location mod, online users mod, ratings mod, unreplied posts mod, buddy list mod, experience bar mod...etc etc..here on smf final 1 or not...??

and stiill trying to work out how can I bring Forum back in MK Portal.

Daniel D.

Please look if these mods are compatible to 1.0 final.

I was with Ezboard before going solo and setting up on my own space with SMF...

When Ezboard did an upgrade it went pants up and led to loads more bugs...

I've done two upgrades and also moved to a new server since setting up with SMF just over 3 month ago and both have been painless..and I'm a newbie to setting up forums from scratch

You guys rock

:D

for mkportal, you have to edit Subs.php again.  it was line 1210 in RC2, but is 1268 in 1.0 i think. reread the MKP SMF readme to find what to paste

Installed itand it works great....Not much changed on first sight..... (but I'm just a n00b, no code-checking here..... :) ).

What strikes me that in the Statistics part the number of hits on my forum has been lowered for today....Did the counter start over upon updating????

No one????:'( :'( :-\

[Unknown]

It shouldn't have changed anything to do with the statistics.

congrats guys. had lots of trouble installing mods but i think i fixed most of the problems by hand now. works like a charm so far.
i think the SMF team should focus a bit on mod certification, like, test all mods before you publish them, i have the feeling that many mods could be loads better if they'd undergo better testing.

keep it up

Looks like one of the files (specifically Errors.php) wasn't uploaded properly.  Can you please try uploading it again?

You are indeed right sir, and I can't believe I didn't catch that. Thanks! :D
