Hi...
I am runing my own LAMP server for the first time...
I am sure i have installed php-mysql files.

But SMF2 Beta4 installation says:

Quote!!
Critical Error!
The installer was unable to detect any database support in PHP. Please ask your host to ensure that PHP was compiled with the desired database, or that the proper extension is being loaded.

I can run phpmyadmin without problems... so i am sure that mysql-php libraries are installed properly.
What could it be?

Thanks

Need to make sure that MySQL is running on port 3306 and on localhost.   If you are still having problems, you might want to contact the software producer for LAMP on finding out how to set those two items.
