nice tut but can it somehow send the db to mail instead of a directory in cpaneel?or can if i borrow a little server from my friend can this be configured to send my daily backup data to that account :-s

I tested, but i can't and i received this

/bin/sh: /home/xxxx/daily.sh: /bin/sh^M: bad interpreter: No such file or directory

Try /usr/bin/sh, or look for your shell specifically -
whereis bash
or
whereis tcsh

Try setting up a Cron Job for automated backups.

Where 'mydirectory' is do I put my Cpanel Username there?
