Tracks the most popular messageboards of the web, based on post counts.  Maybe not the most accurate measure of a board's worth, but still, another place you can list yourself online the better.  They have a preferred format for reporting your stats (to keep you up to date in their system) which is basically a very small xml file. It's not neccesary, but I also wanted to include my archive of messages from before I ran SMF in my count.

Using SSI, I wrote the following php file and stuck it in the root of my SMF install.

<?php
$archive_messages
374175;
require_once(
dirname(__FILE__) . '/SSI.php');
echo
'<members>'$modSettings['memberCount'], '</members><posts>', ($archive_messages $modSettings['totalMessages']), '</posts>';
?>

If you have no archived messages, just change the number to zero.

I just submitted mine today.  So I have no idea how long they take to add new ones either.  It's cool to see other large boards using SMF.  I'm tired of seeing lesser software used on otherwise decent boards.  ;D

how the hell does that work ?

I reckon some of those forums dont clear down their stats history.

Ive just looked at the top forum, and its first board says it has over 46million replies... but in the last 3 days, it cant have more than 700... and thats the only topics theyre showing.

when we clear out in SMF, the topic and board counts go down too,

sounds like a big fix to me!

I submitted your board to them a couple weeks ago. You're already on their list :)
You might want to edit your board's profile though... http://www.big-boards.com/highlight/1044/

Wish they would update the 40konline listing, I hate being number1, when I'm not.
