I knew it something was wrong. I tried through different proxies to get in. But nothing at all.. :o

Brainy "H" :P

* F.L.A.M.E.R runs as tests this on all of his sites to prove "H" that there are glitches sometimes...

It does have glitches sometimes but as we're both in completely different countries from where that site is hosted, it is unlikely that both our connection and theirs will have trouble accessing the site while it is still up :)

Owkie dowkie.. :D

You are in UK aswell :o

I live in London :P

- Its just my origin that it is India.

H

Then perhaps you should update your profile :P
* H is no mind reader :P

Anyway, London and the US are still sufficiently different that the site and our own connections are unlikely to both be broken while the site remains up

Are you on virgin media broadband :o, There maybe a possibility that our ISP had banned us off from SMF machine for that moment.

Its like the thing that happens once in a blue moon..

* F.L.A.M.E.R runs after giving "H" these weirdly amazing assumptions.. :P

H

No I use BT. They did mess up the routing to SM once, however I had the site above to tell me if it was just me or not :P

* F.L.A.M.E.R reminds "H" that Virgin Media is still a part of BT and works internally hand in hand :P

H

Virgin Media uses fibre, BT uses copper. They are separate companies using separate connections to the 'internet'

I know, although Virgin Media evolved from BT. They do use a part of their technology and take over users from each other..

They go by the saying.. Sharing is Caring :P

H

Most internet companies in the UK rely on BT in some way, but that is only because until recently BT had a legal telecoms monopoly. Even when people get their internet from another provider using BT lines, the company doesn't normally get the connection to the internet from BT itself

Vigin do occassionally go through BT if the area where you live isn't cable ready.

I think it was down again today... :o

H

Yep. The actual cause (both today and yesterday) was a hardware problem. Our server admin (dschwab9) has moved us to a different webserver for now
