Error with Package Manager

Have you tried to download the package and install it using the Package Manager like you would do with a mod? .

You must make sure you are using the patch file from the forum file http://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php?topic=324169.0
not any file from the download page
This i think is the problem you are being directed into the support forum and most users will look at this as support not the place for basic update file, and move away if you miss the wording "patch".
If you look in the download Dir you will see small update this is not the patch file. I thought it was as most others I think thought it was. can the patch file be also located in the download Dir?
