It was a small niggle in the code, in which it was inserted into the karma function.
If I recall correctly, this line is part of the karma mod

prepareDBSettingContext($config_vars);
}

and it was placed after the warning mods edits.
So without this in its proper position, the karma function didnt close, and spat itself when the warning mod function was introduced.

I tweaked this to install on SMF v1.1.10, and removed the old ".mod" methods because they can't do regular expressions or (show that they are going to) skip non-existent files.

You must uninstall your old Visual Warning Mod before installing this one, as is the usual because this package doesn't support upgrades.  You won't lose any of your warning data.

This is just an update from v1.42, none of the issues with it's functionality have been addressed, but this should install on all v1.1.10.  Let me know if it doesn't, and attach your files that it fails on, and I'll fix em.

I may eventually fix the bug of the bans not timing out, if that really is a problem.  I haven't looked into it yet.  Anyways, enjoy.

When I want to install this mod smf reports me error to files load.php and defaultDisplay.template.php. Can you fix this? Thanks

those errors are probably because you have other mods already installed. As with any other mod, you will have to manually apply the changes to those "failed" files.

Question about the update, I have 1.34 running, does the latest version have splitted permissions?
For example a certain membergroup can warn, other membergroup can warn and put on moderate status?

If you have a problem, then CLEARLY STATE what the problem you have is.

And, actually **NO** I can not see what you are talking about because your image links are dead.

Include your version of SMF, your version of the mod and the CLEAR description of the problem.

Hi my nice and beautiful fellows , my problem is related with this mode called "Visual Warning MOD".

The problem is with the position and background of the word "warrned" , wich won't appear in the square like nubmer of post does etc.

and the reason it won't is because you have a custom theme with custom CSS.

Mods only install in the default theme, using CSS styling to appear in the default theme.

Any other theme means that you will probably have to modify the mod's CSS to make it appear. I suggest using firefox with the firebug add-on to find the specific CSS entry and modify it to match your other entries.

Posting your display.template.php is probably not relevant in this case becuase it is 90% likely that the issue is a CSS issue, not a coding issue.

for more specific info, I would need a link to a post showing the moderated icon and text.
