Global Moderator cant moderate

SMF 1.10 DEFAULT

Today i assign a group ..Global Moderator.
I add the name of member,Checked all the PERMISSIONS given to membergroup.Modify ,checked his account setting and did everything possible  but still the Global moderator cant moderate any forum.
No edit ,move icons can be seen.

I can modify the BOARD SETTING and can aad his name in each board but i dont want this.

Pls help me know ..what i m missing here.

There already is a global moderator group set up. Why not use that?

Did you check the "Moderate Board" option?

If at first you don't succeed, use a bigger hammer. If that fails, read the manual.

yes there is Global Moderator icon but icon is not clickable i cant add the name of member there .(i hope i m able to explain my point)
I can add global moderators name after each board using Board>Modify option but i dont want to display the name after evry board section.

To asign a Global Moderator, go into the member's rofile and change the member group there to Global Moderator.

What this does is to asign someone to moderate a board. By default, these names are shown in the board listing.

If you asign members to the default Global Moderator group.  They don't need to be added as a board moderator since they have global powers
