I have the latest SMF 1.1.11 running and my question is this:

I have an introduction board and would like for all NEW registered  members to be directed to this Board.

Is there any way I can do this internal with SMF or a mod that might be available?

I have searched this entire site several times and find nothing about this.

one of the problems with new members is they are not familiarly with SMF and have no idea where to or how to go to the Board I have setup for introduction.

Thanks for any assistance.

I would love to be able to do this as well... once they login for the first time, they would get directed to the "New Members" section...

Thanks!

Let us know how it goes.

I installed it and put the URL in that goes direct to my Introduction Board/Forum.

I then registered myself under a fake name as new.  But it DID NOT take me to that board. It just went to the regular manu.

So as far as i can see it's not working correctly.

It did install fine. just dont do it;'s job.

Thanks

Bill

It DOES WORK, there were some extra steps shown in the Samples on the MOD page that has to be enabled.

However When I log as Admin on left under Server settings it shows an Entry called MODIFICATION.

that is not on my menu.

But under Features and Options  (Basic0 there is a check for the MOD.

and it works fine,

If you have a custom theme, you have to make the manual edits to it.

If you no longer need assistance with this, feel free to mark it solved.

Thanks I had forgot about the Manual edit of Custom thems, right now they are regular ones built in.  But i will remember that and I will mark as Solved.
