SMF Bridge Registration Problem

I'm having an odd registration problem. Let's see if I can explaing this... Click on the register link when viewing any page on the site (except the forum) and it takes you to the home page, not the registration page. However, if you click on the forum first and then click the register link you get the registration page. The same thing happens later with login link.

Make the change to your index.english.php (or the equivilent for whatever lanuage you use) file of your default theme that is suggested in step number 6 of the second post.
