How many mods do you have and are you still using Curve?

My apologies, but I am taking a break from accepting PM requests for support.  If I am not currently assisting you, please do not ask as long as this notice is posted.  Thank you.

I have around 50 including avatars. I am still using my custom curve theme.

Well, I can see your reluctance, then.

If you haven't done it already, you might want to start a ticket on your server to ask them about this and also check the server logs.  I'm sorry that it's slow to be resolved, but others will see this when they glean through this board and I'm confident that someone will have the right insight on this.   :)

Yeah, I'm sure you're right. I will keep my fingers crossed. And I will talk to my wwebmaster tomorrow. Maybe he can figure it out.

That's a good idea, tRu3_sKiTz0 and, if you later change your mind and want someone here to look at it, I'm sure one of the staff members would be willing to.

Goodnight.   :)

Thanks again man! I'll keep workin on it for now.

tRu3_sKiTz0

I have been checking regularly and my admin error log has no new errors even though this is still happening. I'm not sure what this means but hopefully my webmaster will be available today.

You reinstalled Pretty URLs, didn't you?   Are you back to getting the PrettyURLs-Filter.php file not found error or is it now just the Internal Sever error?

No just the 404 error that pops up in the "Additional Options" tab. I was getting some other errors because I had a package that I never turned on so I uninstalled it. I think it was buy me a drink or something. Once I got rid of that I have no more error logs what-so-ever. But I still keep getting that pesky 404 error. At this point it really is nothing more than a cosmetic issue but when you are dealing with pofessional people and business owners, you don't want any visible errors or they will be discouraged. So this error really is one of the biggest pains I have had with setting this forum up. And I have come across some pretty nasty errors. The biggest problem is not know where the hell it is coming from. I don't think it ever had anything to do with prettyurls. Oh and yeah I did reinstall it. But that isn't the issue. I think that error was fixed and I was just looking at an older error log that had nothing to do with the current error at all.

gbsothere

Did you ever log into your server and check those logs?  Since it's a server error, that would be more telling than forum error logs.

Yeah I checked those also, I can tell you it is the oddest thing. and I just don't understand what could make it do this. It must be isolated to the options tab. Maybe if someone could take a look at what files are related to that button... idk...

gbsothere

Well....    I could take a look at your Post.php and your Post.template.php.   I'm not sure it would help but it couldn't hurt.

Okay I'm gonna go ahead post my posts.template.php. I'm looking at the template/php file now and there seems to be a lot about the additiional options in here.

gbsothere

I'll take a look at it and, if you can attach your Post.php, from Sources, as well, that might be helpful.   :)

Just keeping you informed, tRu3_sKiTz0...   I do see that a mod has changed the code for Additional Options.  I'm just going through it, now, line by line...

The mod in question is Simple Imageshack.

I'll post again when I've finished going through it.

tRu3_sKiTz0, there is only one mod keeping your Post.php from being as pristine as it was when it came out of the box and that is Advanced Reputation.  I'm sure this is not your problem.

There is only one mod keeping your Post.template.php from being "box clean" and that is Simple ImageShack.  Its edits are placed right into the middle of your Advanced Options strings.  This one wouldn't surprise me, if it was implicated.  I removed it from my own board long ago because of the errors it spawned.

Rather than going to the trouble to completely uninstall it, my suggestion would be this:  upload a clean Post.template.php to your default folder.  If the error goes away, then post on the support thread for Simple ImageShack and ask for some insight into this.  (The mod won't work properly without its edits being included in Post.template.php, but at least you'll know the source of the error, if uploading a fresh Post.template.php makes the error go away. )

My apologies, but I am taking a break from accepting PM requests for support.  If I am not currently assisting you, please do not ask as long as this notice is posted.  Thank you.

Okay then later on I will find a clean post.template.php and upload that to see what happens. Any we can move some stuff around?

There will be a clean file in the RC3 zip you downloaded in "default".  Move some stuff around?  As far as Simple Imageshack's edits?   Well, if a clean file makes the error go away, then, if it were me, I'd post on the thread and inform the author that you used the package manager, which placed the edits where they are supposed to go but that it is throwing an error.  He may be able to suggest an alternate edit.  Of course, if you upload a clean file and the error doesn't go away, we're back at square one.
