Since that's a 2.0 theme and you're using 1.1.x. That's a problem there as 2.0 themes don't install onto 1.1.x.

Change back to the default theme in your profile (or add ?theme=1 to the URL to your forums.). Uninstall that theme. Then download and install the other version of that theme.

If at first you don't succeed, use a bigger hammer. If that fails, read the manual.

you mean this:   http://forumajsp.ajsportugal.org/?theme=1 [nofollow]
well I get:  Unable to load the 'main_above' template.

seems I made some big mistake right?

try What is repair_settings.php? but only use the part for the themes, that will reset you back to the default theme

JDiogo

thnks, but the server doesn't allow to upload the file.
On the server I have another SMF forum do you think that if upload the Themes folder from the other forum I will be able to solve the prob?
JDiogo

Kays

No, that won't work as the theme selection is in the database.

Have you tried using an FTP client?

How do I use FTP? / What is FTP?

Put the repair_settings in the forumajsp folder and run it from there.

"Dear João Diogo,

Thank you for contacting us.

Please be informed that if you had used one of the applications of 1and1[be it Click&Build or WebsiteBuilder and the like], you cannot modify or customize any files of this application on the webspace.

If you have any further questions please do not hesitate to contact us.

if they will not let you modify your files i would suggest you find a new host, as that is silly and you should be able to do what you want as they are *your* files.

Kays

Also, you are not modifying a file. But rather trying to just upload one.

If at first you don't succeed, use a bigger hammer. If that fails, read the manual.
