"Remove theme". How come it doesn't remove the theme from the site, completely?

I also noticed that, but once uninstalled you can delete the files in Theme directory by ftp
sorry for my bad english

Yeah its a pain.  You can uninstall mods and then deleted them from the package manager.  But you can't do the same for themes.  That's  fine if your host doesn't set inode limits, but they soon add up if you leave all the unused themes on the server.  I'm sure some people don't realise they are still there.

New feature perhaps?

To add to this,

I also thought about some other aspects.

Themes > Manage and install, fairly straight forward, and logical.

However, to un-install a theme you have to go to modify themes (instead of manage themes), where you can "Remove" it.  It says remove, but it doesn't remove it, it un-installs it, as mentioned above.  Not logical.

If anyone loves trying out various themes, by installing them, uninstalling them, and trying out loads of different themes, they will get a shock when they eventually check their themes directory via ftp.  ;)

The problem seems to be, first, that it says "remove", instead of "uninstall". That's what it's really doing: uninstalling the theme from your forum installation, not removing it from the server. :)
Consider that fixed.

Deleting the unused theme folders is also warranted.
To-do lists are for deferral. The more things you write down the later they're done... until you have 100s of lists of things you don't do.

Thanks.  I'm glad K@ brought this up now.  It's been niggling me for ages, but as no one else had mentioned it, I thought it was me being picky. lol.. ;)

Oh, it's easy enough to do, I agree. It just struck me as a bit weird, tiz all. ;)
