I have a quick question and I don't know if this is part of a actual function of SMF that is possible or maybe I need a mod.

I would like to be able to as a Administrator to post on the behalf of someone and it look like that was posted by that member not by the Administrator.  Before you ask, NO, it's not frame or disgrace a member by posting derogatory things. That would be stupid anyways as a Administor you would get question why that members posts weren't deleted or banned.

Anyways, the reason I do want to know how to do this is there are some members that need help doing certain things and making certain postings I.E. in the downloads section. I don't want to do it as a Admin because I want the member to get credit for the posting as it is their material that are uploading to the downloads section.  So anyways I can post as them or maybe do it as a Admin and then have them take over as the owner of the post?

Anyway this is possible??

-Thanks!

You can use the subaccounts mod or if your users are OK with it, they can share their login info with you.  There are some "post as alternative user" mods floating around as well.
