Is there in the error log something related?

nop nothing ... why is there a parser error when retrieving data for quiz in greek ?
the tables are fine after the last fix .... it`s a mystery   ???

emanuele

It's probably because the strings are not properly formatted and the resulting xml is wrong.

I should have a look at the xml, if you can provide an account with ability to play quizzes and maybe to manage them too, would be the best option.

Take a peek at what I'm doing! ;D

i ve send you login info
thanks a lot !!!!!  :)

Unfortunately your issue fits into the encoding-chars mess that I planned to clean a long time ago, but never had time to...
I also have some doubts now on the "state" of the tables (i.e. if they are UTF/latin/something else), so I'm not sure what to do. :(

If they are not in the language files, then you probably have to search in the javascript files... There are quite a bit of "hard-coded" strings in the mod.

VERY rough translation by K@: Please, stick to English in the non-language-specific boards, Norvidge, if you'd be so kind.

You have to go to the themes/default/scripts/quiz_scripts/QuizClient.js folder and there can be all articles within the quiz. I did it long time for my forum and if you take an afternoon modifying things (colors for background, text, text sizes...) at the end a result can stay pretty cool.

Solved, thanks  ;D

I installed this module works great.

I have a question, when we answer a free text question we can hit enter button to submit the answer, but hitting the enter button again does nothing. It would be gr8 if hitting enter again take us to next question.

Shadab

I have just found a new issue.

It would seem that when your creating a quiz and add questions you cannot add images at the time of creation that would form a part of the question.

i.e. if you created a quiz based on photos of people and asked who they are you cannot add the photos of the people when you create the quiz.

The attachments 1 & 2 show the window when creating the questions. Attachment 3 shows the question once the quiz has been approved and then you return to the question to modify it.

Now I wonder why that happens like that

Any ideas Emanuele?

If you want quizzes to add to the new SMF2.1 quiz mod go here . There are also walkthroughs in the forum to explain how to install them and other tips.

I'm using 2.0.6 and quiz 1.1.0 and I don't have this problem. I always get all the options. I notice few people having problems playing Leagues that stop after the first round. We did discovered in 2012 that by disabling the option of "Send PM on Quiz League Round Update" in settings, did eliminated the problem and the League did always worked fine after that.

If you Sig. line is longer or higher than two line, you are just an attention seeker. Grow up!

For some reason I lost this message...

What are you using as text of the question (with the image)?

What are you using as text of the question (with the image)?

Let's say for arguments sake the question is 'Who is this person' and then the person playing the quiz has to look at a photo of a person. What's not happening Emanuele is the option to upload a picture if required and it should be automatically there and as you can see from the attachments it doesn't matter what type of quiz it is either.

What I have just notice though is the Quiz version.

Are we meant to be using the beta1 or the beta2 version as I have 'SMF Quiz 1.1.1 beta1' installed, although looking below the 'Quiz Home' it says I'm using version 'SMFQuiz 1.1.0 © 2009, SMFModding'?

Anyone know where I can get additional quiz packs for this mod?

ooohhh... sorry, I was probably more asleep than I'm now.
Normal users are not allowed to upload images I think, so if you create the quiz from the admin panel you can upload images as well, if you do it from your profile you are not presented with the upload box.

Thanks!  I registered and was able to get the quiz packs.

But do you know where I can find the ones with music that are on that site?  They don't seem to be a part of that package.
