One of the member account was hacked and he suspected that he forgot to log out in a public computer, so he requested for help from moderators to help him log out all the session. I have search high and low but SMF doesn't seem to have such feature by default.

Ask him to just change the password. That alone should do it.

You can delete his session on the database but that will just be recreated as soon as the affected browser logs in again.

SO best remedy is to change password and delete the session on the database?

I *think* that just changing the password is enough

Erm, i am sorry, i just wanna reassure this. What you mean is if that member log out that particular account from his personal PC, all his sessions in other electronic devices which includes public PC. any handheld devices and so on will also be log out?

margarett

It does. I've just tested here using 2 browsers and both logins were ended when I logged out in one of them.
