question about editing smf...

So i've been editing my smf forum a lot, did a lot of minor changes to /Sources/ - most of them for aesthetic reasons. Anyway, my question is how screwed am i if i ever decide to upgrade to 2.1 (when it comes out)? Any advice from people who had to deal with this in 1.1.x to 2.0.x? Thanks.

since all files get replaced there is no issue, just remember that all your changes would no longer exist once you upgrade.

But since 2.1 is an upheaval of many things aesthetically, you might find 2.1 works better for you...
