How to COPY a thread to another board (not just move)

I'd like to have the same message in a number of the boards on my forum.
In this case, specifically notifications to users of various of the 'for sale' boards.

I know how to MOVE a thread but there doesn't appear to be any means of COPYING one, in the core code at least ?

If it's not possible as is, perhaps there's a mod which does this?


Even better would be if a post could be created in one place and MIRRORED to other boards, so that only an original needs to be changed and all linked threads update) .

Ideas?
