Our site ever so often looses a post or topic. Once a topic literally disappeared in front of me trying to access it.
It does not happen often but still annoying.
Is this a common issue others experience and is there a known culprit?

Only admin can delete posts on our site.

Its not normal behavior. Do you have recycle bin?
What SMF and PHP version you have?
And what mods?

Check permissions and which membergroup have what access. Topic can be also moved. What message you got on try to access it?

@RaeRae11 you are asking for support, so this is not right place to ask for support, this topic should be moved to SMF 2.0.x or 2.1.x support board, if not older SMF version?

Ok move it over... sorry for misposting
Running 2.0.15
Only one admin no moderators etc
Thanks for your feedback

Working on upgrading which hopefully fixes this!

This is not normal behavior.

I would first run the routine maint task to Find and Repair Errors.

Next thing I'd try is to set up a Recycle board, to see if they end up showing up there.

Deleting a topic should also be logged, unless it happens as part of deleting a user profile - when only that deletion gets logged I think. Have you checked your logs?

Permissions to remove own and any post/topic should not be available to regular users. Same for account deletion.
