Hello, I am looking for a mod that allows you to display picture attachments, preferably those that are used in the post for visiting guests.

I think you can do that with integrated permissions.
Open Admin panel => Permissions, then open page for Guests.
Navigate to the bottom and check "View attachments" option.

That is correct. This can be done with the built in permissions for guests. Marking this as solved.

This is confusing, at least for me. Can you please clarify as to what you mean by images? Be as detailed as possible, screenshots will help too.

from what I'm gathering they mean as opposed to viewing files that may be attached...they only want guests to see image file types (png,jpg,gif,etc) not other file types (txt,zip,etc)

and I don't think that's exactly possible...I mean maybe some mangled if statements thrown in there, possibly, i'm not really sure how the attachment functions work so can't say either way

Now I understand. Thank you for the clarification. Hopefully someone will pick this up and code a mod for the OP.

dodos26 your posts are confusing as hell.
What does that even mean display picture attachments? If you want to display the image file types (png,jpg,gif,etc) say so and don't expect people to read your mind lol

Maybe it's because I'm used to working with people who think well outside the box but how I read it was the man was looking to allow guests to view attached images only (pictures, logos, anything that is an image)... other attachments would remain off-limits.

I assume he's using images inline and wants those images to appear for guests but doesn't want the attachments that are available to download that are NOT images to be off-limits to guests.
