[FREE/PAID] NO Upload Button & Improved Attachment User Interface Mod

I just tried really hard to break things by uploading 24 images at once and then deleting then uploading etc... I never got an error.  I did,  however,  manage to get 5 images to show up on one post even though the maximum number of images is set for 4.  Is this is the same 'issue' Antechinus came across?

It's a variant of the one I posted where here for example it says you have 36 but attaching one means you have 19 left.

Basically the whole thing is busted and the *team* should be fixing it. Or at least acknowledging it so any work gets integrated.

Not holding my breath.   The insert preview bug on this site that was reported a week ago has still not been fixed.  Is anyone paying attention?

I tested with my sons ipad.  I really don't know how to to manipulate this device very well (I really don't do ios or android) but...

The good news is that the uploads auto-upload in both Chrome and Safari on his ipad (both single and multiple files).

I do not know if there are errors in the console as I have no idea how to access the console.

But they do work!

Having been doing some pretty decent amount of testing on this auto-attachment upload...

I've determined that pressing INSERT on each is a slight annoyance as each time you click insert the browser pops up to the editor field (as is necessary to show placement, etc)...

Would it make sense to add an "INSERT ALL" option now somewhere that would do just that... insert all attachments one after another with perhaps a space between (or carriage return?)?

In my defense... carriage return was used in ASCII code,  DOS ...IIRC, and a few other places for the computer as well. 

I am old... but not THAT old...

I'm old enough to remember dealing with carriage returns and newlines when programming stuff to be printed out to a physical printer.

I also know that Windows still mostly treats a 'line break' as being made up of 'a carriage return marker' (ASCII 13) followed by a 'new line marker' (ASCII 10).

But I'm kinda old.

No offense, Sesq, but if 2.1 had been managed properly over 10 years of development, we wouldn't be having this discussion.  As you have seen, other folks have stepped up since official release and offered several very good fixes for the more obvious hairballs.  That could have been done years ago, but it wasn't.  Whose fault is that?

I got told off by my wife the other day for the same thing.  If you keep harping on it, despite it being past, done and unalterable  -- then it's 100% whining.
