Trying to make Valentine's color variant; trouble with boardicons.png

I don't get it. I've changed these boardicons numerous times without trouble. I've moved the unlocked heart around to no avail. Just can't get it to show up. Chained heart shows up fine. Could it be because the unchained heart is smaller? I thought bigger would be more of a problem....

Anyone got a tip?
