I`m not to sure. I would guess the warning would stay but I would think only admins can see it but this is just a guess I could be wrong.

Had a few things show up in my error logs and was wondering if anyone had a fix for them.  Some of them seem to be the same problem....just different lines.

8: Undefined index: can_warn

Line: 454

8: Undefined index: warning

I guess I should have tested this first but when I go to apply a warning it gives this:

QuoteYou have an error in your SQL syntax. Check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near ')
ORDER BY mem.lngfile
LIMIT 0' at line 8
File: /home/*****/public_html/smf/Sources/Subs-Post.php
Line: 733

EDIT: I think I found out why this happened. i tried to warn a member that had left my forum awhile back and thats why I would think I got the error. I just tried it on a member that is active and it works. Please disregard this post.

If i check in the html source there are the links to the module but there is not the text :(

How can i do?
Thanks very much!

The reason I recieved that message was because I tried to warn someone that was already banned on my forum. After I tried to ban or warn a member it worked fine.

Bummer. Is there any similar mod that will work with SMF 1.0.7 ?

You'll need to maunually modify the failed file. Instructions are in the zip file. Its fairly easy to do. Download a copy of the file to your PC, do the modification as per the instructions in the zip file, upload and over write the one there. It should then work OK.
SMF RC1, Tiny Portal 0.75, Coppermine 1.3.3, Flashchat.

excellent mod! had to do the manual edit to the managepermissions but it was easy and painless. good work

tnx for mod
can some explain me why moderators cannot give warn ? his not see warn button  :-\

Bigguy

They should/might be able to ONLY in the forums they are moderators of, I`m not sure though.

DrilLer

Bigguy

When you set someone as "Moderator" They are only Moderator of the forum you have made them a moderator of NOT the whole site. Global Moderators on the other hand Moderate the whole site so they have permission to warn members.

Is there a way to fix the coding so it doesn't show the whole world that that user was warned and why?

I don't want everyone, including guests, to know that a user was warned by a mod.

I would prefer something that only the Mods/Admins/Author can view and preferably put in the display.template.php instead so it's where the Av and what not are. I would also like more levels to chose  from, maybe mod it to chose the amount of levels you can have before ban?

I'm looking for something more like the IPB Warn mod.

iv_nik

During manual installation, running VisualWarningdb.php I have
QuoteError updating the DB. SQL Error: Invalid default value for 'ID'
in the 1st fnd 3rd line. In other lines there is Data Inserted Correctly! message.

You have to edit your Modifications.you_language.php and Admin.you_language.php. Just copy from Modifications.english.php and Admin.english.php the missing text.
