Very much spam...

Hi there,

in the german section we have a lot of spam messages in the faq section. All postings are made by guests. Is it possible to prevent such messages by changing the permissions so guests can't post in there any more?

I've checked and there aren't any posting buttons showing up in the forums there. Most likely these are members who deleted themselves after posting.

I've deleted the SPAM, and we are looking in to it.

I don't think so

In FAQ & Tutorials you can't create new topics as guest, but reply to existing ones.

But if you sign up as a member and then delete yourself after posting you would show up as a guest poster after the fact.

As you can see in this thread: http://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php?topic=20081 we get spam every day there. This is not funny! 

Is there any chance to get help with this problem?

I just checked and guests should no longer be able to post anything in those boards.
