I want to add another community to my siite, but want to have it use its own database and own directory..I however want users to be able to use the bridge for login and registartion purposes for these, and all future forums...is there a fairly straight forward process that can accomplish this wiht the bridge?

The shared forum work around by Goose seems geared toward forums in the same database and sharing the same directory.

Is there some reason you need it to have its own database and directory?

For my purposes..it seems pratical..in that these communities would in effect..be "hosting" on my server..having them use a  seperate databases and seperate directories seemed practical for monitoring purposes, and providing the possibility of a no hassle process in case a particular community wanted to host somewhere else.

Your problem will arise in trying to have all users in all forums, since they will each have their own members table.

Would it be posssible then..to simply have different directories for smf | 1 smf database| and utilize the 1.14 or 1.15 bridge? and if so..what is the easiest way to accomplish that?
