There are no new versions since Sunday.  I will be doing packages (from the package manager) for updates from now on, if possible.  And I will update those, of course.

Thanks for the info :)
This afternoon I will try to convert my Supermod boards, I'm very curious!

Many thanks to all the SMF team for the public beta, it's excellent!
Successfully upgraded from YABBSE with no problems at all  :D (tripod.co.uk server).

Thanks again!

does the calendar always shows all the events except for birthday's of the whole month?
(on board main index)
((U + C + I)x(10 − S)) / 20xAx1 / (1 − sin(F / 10))

Please do not PM for support - anything else is usually OK.

pulpitfire

you can set what it shows on Board Index, in admin/Features/Calendar (might want to post in English help) :)

Yes I know,
but isnt it supposed to display whats gonna happen on the day itself?
Because instead of that it justs shows all the Today events :-|

well, you can set how many days in advance you want it to show events.  default is 7.  just set 0 or 1

LiroyvH

Unless you ran a step twice, you should never get such an error.

As far as the "latest fix date" I stopped updating things the day after. (Sunday in my timezone)  I did this because I wanted to fix all major issues, but also didn't want really "different" versions floating around.

Expect another update in a little bit.  Also remember that changelog.txt should show your revision number at the top.  Current CVS is 1.483, latest download is 1.454.  I think the first download was around 1.443.

Well, it had something to do with polls that weren't linked to topic ID's or something like that. I deleted all poll's, and everything went fine this time. Now I'm only testing a few things (and also my GM's), and I'm planning on converting the live board next week. I guess all updates can be used to overwrite the original files, so updating the Beta's would be very easy ?

[Unknown]

Well, yes, you can easily upload all the files from the update package....

I am thrilled with the SMF forums so far.  I have run into very few issues with upgrading from YabbSE to SMF.  Keep up the great work!

On the subject of backing up or making a copy of my database.  The tables for my forum total about 9MB.  I can now download them all as .sql files.

But what I really want to do is make a copy of all the tables on my database with some alternative prefix, so that I can test SMF 1.0 on them.

Is there a quick way to do this?

While installing there is a checkbox to create a backup of the existing database with a prefix.
