still have a page rank of 0

why do i still have a page rank of 0? my site has existed since june, and its grown since. yet my page rank is 0. google indexes my pages, but it just wont give them a good page rank... why....?

Page Rank is a number to indicate inbound links.  You may be indexed by Google, but if no one links to you, your PR won't grow.  Try some link exchanges with some other forums and sites.

Google is a huge boulder that takes a lot of time to move a little distance.

Could consider opening up the forum a bit to guests? Maybe have a few boards available for guests and profile viewing etc. Gives bots more to crawl generally and might help transfer some of your guests into members?

It was open to guests until 4 days ago. Since Ive made it members only ive had 6-7 new registrations a day (up from an average of 0.7) and more activity. google also has the whole site to crawl (except the forums) and sdtill nothing 
i will be opening it up again to guests in about a week or two though. but for now its closed because its getting more members and more activity.

Google made its last PR update Sep 28. But they used data from Aug. One of my sites has existed since July and also have a PR of 0. You will get your PR in the next update, estimated to take place in Jan 28 2007. You can predict your future Google PageRank at  hxxp:www.iwebtool.com/pagerank_prediction. [nonactive]
