are we good to go with 1.1.2?

Absolutely.  8)

Though I do recommend that you uninstall the mod before upgrading and then reinstall it once your upgrade is complete.  This rule won't apply to you if you use the package manager to upgrade rather than the full upgrade.  It's completely up to you.  :)

You mean the 1.1.2 upgrade? I am already upgraded...so I can just install through pac-man...

Disregard that message for now.  Log into your SFTP server and CHMOD all affected files to 777.  Once you've done that, then apply the mod.  Let me know if you're still having problems.

Here's a list of all the files I think are changed.  I'm not at my computer right now, so I have to real way to verify this.

./Packages
./Packages/*
./Themes/default/Post.template.php
./Themes/default/images/bbc
./Sources/Subs.php

Let me know if you still get a CHMOD error.

marcalhon

still have the error! I'm using the dilbermc theme!

The theme you're using shouldn't matter.  Just ensure that the above files and folders are writable.  Do you have shell or CLI access to your server?

marcalhon

Sorry, i still have the problem! had all that chmod's but still the error remains

Which files does it say are still unwritable.

it does not say a filename,  :'( :'( :'(

I suggest you use Daniel15's package parser to display which files need to be made writable.  If that doesn't work, you'll have to make the changes manually, I'm afraid.

I suggest you use hxxp:60.241.80.44/smf/package.php [nonactive] to display which files need to be made writable.  If that doesn't work, you'll have to make the changes manually, I'm afraid.

in installed this, manually added the code to the post.template.php as instructed and added the button to my appropriate folder.

I see the youtube button, when I click it the tags appear, but after I insert the YouTube code between the tags and post to the thread, nothing appears... you don't see anything, but when you hover over where the video should be there is an outline.

Any suggestions?

okay, when I just put the unique video code excluding the youtube URL, it works.  Is there any way to mod this so that a user can just copy the youtube provided URL as is?

That would be extremely difficult, if not impossible to do.
