I noticed that too. It said that it could not conect to the database.

Should be better and improving as near as I know. There may be more issues throughout the night but, hopefully, any additional problems will be short lived.

the datacenter housing the server that SMF's database is contained on has been having major problems with one of their aggregate routers -- i believe that is one of the main routers attaching the racks to the backbone.

this is why there were mostly database connection errors.

As KGIII noted there may be a few small instances of downtime still to come as they work out the bugs out of the brand new board they installed.
