Hiding Posts In The Recent Posts List

I've made some posts that were for staff only in staff only areas. However, they still show up in the Recent Posts list.

Assuming I didn't miss a step that will deny nonstaff access to see posts that were created in areas which permisions were denied to nonstaff on the Recent Posts list, I'm requesting that this could be a feature. It seems like the option to do so should just be there by default.

To elaborate, I don't want to deny any group or person permission to the Recent Posts list, just deny anyone who didn't have the permission to access the board to have access to the post (it shouldn't show up in the Recent Post list for those who didn't have the permission to access the board).

Of course, it's likely I just missed this step.

He who views the list of recent posts is he whose permissions are checked.  And so it shall be done, and so it has been done.
