please help

Hi all,

I am new to this forum and I need your help. I install the arabic forum (smf 1.1 rc2) and everything looks just fine, I only have one simple problem; when I click on the Help button (ta3lemaat) I am getting an empty page with no texts but when I am changing it to English language and pressing on the Help button everything is working just fine. Can someone help me how to fix this problem please.

because there isn't Arabic translation for help

you can go to themes / default / languages / Help.english.php

and you can copy the file and rename the new copy into Help.arabic.php the English help will appear
in arabic version of the forum

or you can simply translate the Help.english.php into arabic and save the file with Help.arabic.php
then your problem would be fixed

maybe i will try to translate the file and i will post the URL to it i will think about it $:-\$

you tried to copy the file then rename the new file to Help.arabic.php
and put the new file in same folder
which is :
smf/themes/default/languages/ .....

or you tried something else ?

yah but i named that folder forum not smf, so it's forum/themes/default/languages/......

I copied the file Help.english.php to my pc and then I rename it to "Help.arabic.php" and then pasted in the same place where i have Help.arabic.php file and it asked if i want to rewrite it over that file, I clicked yes to all but still nothing happend

you mean that when you click on help there is no help instruction ?

The language strings of that page are stored in Manual.arabic.php, not in Help.arabic.php

do u have any idea how to fix it? I don't know anything about php

copy Manual.english.php to Manual.arabic.php

Thank you very much for your help, finally it is working

ps: I never had Manual.arabic.php I only had Manual.english.php, this is weird I wonder if other people who are using the same version have the same problem.
