Great job! I use phpBB now, and unless something comes up that will prevent it - I'm going to change.

Anything in place for converting from other forums to SMF? I'd love to be able to save my members and posts.

Nice! That should make my guildmaster quite happy - I know it makes me happy as the guy that has to DO it. I'll experiment with the converting as I get time and hopefully I'll be using SMF for my guild soon.

My main delay has to do with the strengths I see in the forum. Being able to spread the functionality of the forum across the entire guild site is a MAJOR benefit. We have been looking into ways to tie the forum and (homemade) rostering system together. The roster is entirely custom built, and I had not been able to find anything that would allow us to blend everything together. I now have. Thanks, I'll let you know how it goes.

The rest of the guild site is pretty much custom made, but that looks like it might be handy for another site I'm making - or two.

I've played around with it more and am very very impressed. Nice work, keep it going!

Hi I'm Kind of new to this so I was wondering how I would be able to add new themes to my forum

Download the theme you want to install, to your computer. (You can find great themes on the themes site)
Than login as an administrator , go to administration - under Forum Configuration you will find Theme and Layout Settings from where you can install any theme you want.
Install a New Theme - > and just upload the theme.

You can have alot of fun , integrating with your custom site, and creating cool things, with your forum and website using the SMF's SSI functions. Just search the site for more about SSI , and read the SSI FAQ'S
