Board index modification help and PM modification help

Well on the most recent post it shows you the topic name and who posted by in a link but is there a way to display a link to the board that it's posted in. IE: Topic name by Username in Childboard so you can look at other recent posts within that particular board as well.

My other question is, I know that SMF themself is making a way to display only one PM when in the PM system but I was curious if anyone had a way to do the Board strip similar to the way that IPB has it to where it displays the one most recent new (must not be read) PM at the top.

Any help in doing at least the first would be appreciated.

I don't think I can do either. Unless someone knows how to choose only unread messages. I can use SQL but what column does it say that the message is unread? With that then I think I could do it.
