SMF Version: SMF 1.1 RC2
Hello,

My error log is suddenly full of these errors (with any theme including the default one)

8: Undefined index: ajax_in_progress
File: /home/me/public_html/forums/Themes/default/Errors.template.php (main_below sub template - eval?)
Line: 458

SMF 1.1 RC2  Bridged (orstios 3.15a) with joomla 1.10 but the errors occur when I access the unbridged forum as well so I don't think it's anything to do with the bridge.

Thantos

Where did you get your copy of the SMF default theme?  That index is not in the RC2 release, but instead is in the development editions.

Erm originally I had smf 106 then I upgraded to 1.1 RC2 using the upgrade patch ages ago - the errors just suddenly started appearing today, no one else has admin access to the site so if it's the development version that's really weird, I shall go and download  1.1 RC2  again from here and try uploading the default theme and see if it fixes it.

I also came across this error today, but have traced it to the SMFOne Theme. It says it was built for 1.1RC3 and i get that error on everything i access although as soon as i reverted back to the default theme this went away. Any thoughts? I really like SMFOne

Aaron updated the theme for RC3. Looks like he updated a bit too early ;)

I've spoken to him about this so I'm sure he'll get back to you shortly

Whoops... :-[

To get rid of the error, open SMFOne's index.template.php and find:

echo '
';

// The following will be used to let the user know that some AJAX process is running
echo '
<div id="ajax_in_progress" style="display: none;', $context['browser']['is_ie'] && !$context['browser']['is_ie7'] ? 'position: absolute;' : '', '">', $txt['ajax_in_progress'], '</div>
</body></html>';

Replace with:

echo '

</body></html>';

That should help.

I'll update the SMFOne packages by tomorrow. This error should of course not occur. :P

Worked like a charm!

Thank you very much. Liking the move from IPB more and more.
