I cant get my forum to work

I have tried everything and my forum wont work.

I am willing to give my login info to a trusted member if they can help fix it.

I have installed everyting the way it told me to also.

What's the problem with the forum Scott?

Please can you make sure that you check in settings.php that the Maintenance Mode option is correct, as SMF has an unusuable mode.

It may be related to your host or even the server configuration.

I tried to install smf for Scott and the problem was not with smf but with Scott's web hosting, because the ftp was not working to well on his website , and some files couldn't get uploaded.

Scott is searching for a new free web host now.

i recently upgraded another members forums and i had difficulty uploading files. it was so bad i had to visually verify file sizes on all files just to be sure they all got there, ftp was atrocious. that member will be hosting with me shortly. i also got there forums going too, and believe me it was frustrating.
